Apt 5 is an upcoming high-concept cocktail bar located in the vibrant Lower East Side. We are dedicated to creating a unique and immersive drinking experience with innovative cocktails and exceptional service. Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Bartender/Bar Director to join our team and help shape the future of Apt 5. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing our cocktail program, managing the bar team, and ensuring an unforgettable guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Creative Development: Design and implement an innovative cocktail menu that aligns with Apt 5's high-concept vision. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of talented bartenders and bar staff. Inventory Management: Oversee ordering, inventory, and cost control to ensure efficient and profitable operations. Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service standards and foster a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all guests Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations. Qualifications: Requirements: NYC Bar Experience: Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in notable NYC bars or restaurants. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team, with experience in training and development. Mixology Expertise: In-depth knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and current industry trends. Bar Procedures: Experience in overall bar setup and opening/closing procedures. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
